Shanna Lee Prescott

Shanna Lee Prescott, age 70, of Temple, Texas passed away on Monday, October 4, 2021 at a local hospital. She was born on December 25, 1950 at Hill Air Force Base in Ogden, Utah.

A visitation will take place on Friday, October 8, 2021 from 3:00pm – 8:00pm at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home 3110 Airport Rd. Temple, Texas.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 11:00am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints 3909 Ermine Trail, Temple, TX 76504 followed by a burial at Salado Cemetery in Salado, TX.

On January 23, 1971 in Elko, NV Shanna married James R. Prescott. She is a lifetime member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where she also was a Primary teacher for 20 plus years and Seminary teacher for several years, was a member of the choir and for a time the Ward Chorister and a Relief Society Instructor.

Shanna is survived by her husband Jim Prescott of Temple, Children, Shane Prescott of Farmington, UT, Jimmy Prescott and wife Heather of Cedar Hills, UT, Teresa Tobias of Killeen, TX, Jamie Andrews and husband Dennis of Temple, TX and Kelly Prescott of Troy, TX, grandchildren, Drew Prescott and wife Darbi of Bountiful, UT, Mackenzie Prescott of Oklahoma City, OK, Brenton Babcock of Temple, TX, Spencer Tobias of Temple, TX, Garrett Prescott of Cedar Hills, UT, Connor Babcock of Temple, TX, Carlee “Bella” Bradley of Troy, TX, Grace Prescott of Tooele, UT, Sienna Prescott of Temple, TX, and Eliza Prescott of Tooele, UT. She is also survived by her sister Lesa Muldowney of Ogden, UT, brother Sid Carter of Brigham City, UT, and her precious cats Scarlett and Sophia.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Susie Prescott, a grandson Patryk Bradley and her parents Godfrey and Verna Quest.
