Gene and I were good friends in High School and then as time passed by we went on our seperate ways. He was a great guy and never got into trouble til he met me..Does anyone know how he died. thanks, sincerely.. Steve
Gene was a good guy. We were good friends at one time. I knew he had trouble after a car fell on him. I haven't seen his brother or anyone who knows much. He was very talented and I was very saddened when I got the news.
Gene was a good friend since our days when we both had his mother for our 4th grade teacher at Sunset Elementary. A few times after college my husband and I would run into him. Once was when Rick drywalled his family room for him at his home in Roy. He and his wife had 3 kids then and they were very happy. But not many years later we heard about his accident when he was crushed under his car he was working on. He was never the same from then on. He was like a child again in many ways and it became too much for his wife to handle. I heard that she left him and went back to school to provide for her kids. He lived with his parents for a while and I saw them at Smith's one time at this point and Gene didn't know me. He had lost all long term memory. His folks were hoping he would remember but he did not. He went to live with his brother David out of state and that is where he died. He lived there for several years. So sad because he was such a great person and gifted in many ways. I have often thought about him. Georgia Tew
