I enlisted in the Air Force in 1970 and spent all 4 years stationed at Bergstrom AFB in Austin Texas. In 1978 I graduated from Weber State with a degree in Electronic Engineering Technology, while at the same time working at Hill Air Force Base. In 2000 I quit working at Hill AFB to run my business full time manufacturing and marketing my products Worldwide. I have retired from running my business, and now my Daughter and my Grandchildren run our business.
In 1983 I married Debbie Kurill, a 1974 graduate of Clearfield High, and we have lived in Layton, West Point, and now live in Syracuse. She is awesome. We have two children and two grandchildren. We enjoy attending church, traveling, cruising 44 times, working on family history, teaching others to do their family history, and spending time with our family. We served a one year mission at the Layton Family Search Center when it first opened.
Our lives have not been without tragedy. My older brother Frank, a 1968 graduate, died when he was only 42 of a brain tumor, leaving his wife Jeanne Gardner, a 1969 graduate and classmate, with 4 children. A year later my wife’s brother David Kurill, a 1972 graduate, died of cancer, leaving a wife with 3 children. In 2008 our 20 year old son Steven died, which has caused us much grief, but has strengthened us as we are comforted knowing God’s eternal plan.
For many years my wife and I have worked and studied hard to know the truth about all things, and have been very successful in doing so. We do not like lies or liars. Today, there is much division in the USA because of the political division caused by half of this nation who believe the lies from their party's politicians, their so called news media and social media. Hint, It is not the 30 minute local and World network news media with no commentary that is not telling the truth. They are still reporting only verified facts the same way they have been for 70 years. It is your duty to know who is telling the truth about all things you can. I know who is lying and who is not, and I hope all will come to know the truth, most importantly about religion, and then about politics, and then everything else.
We are looking forward to enjoying our years to come and have enjoyed watching our children and grandchildren grow up.
I would love to hear from any of my old friends.
